FRANCEINFO - 24H. NEWS CHANNEL

In 2016 UNITECNIC led the launch of 24h FRANCEINFO, the French’s News Channel belonging to the French audiovisual Group FRANCE TÉLÉVISIONS. Moreover, Unitecnic was not only in charge of project design, but also performed the channel’s full installation of all technical equipment.
After participating in an initial competitive dialogue phase, along with other international broadcast engineering companies, the proposal submitted by UNITECNIC was chosen for two reasons; its technical quality and because it was the most competitive tender.
Furthermore, FRANCE TÉLÉVISIONS have entrusted UNITECNIC to handle the support for the operation as well as the maintenance of the new channel during its first months on-air. And thus, UNITECNIC has managed, on the one hand, to launch FRANCE INFO successfully in record time and, on the other, to position the channel in 2016, as one of the more technologically advanced in the European audiovisual sector.

IMAGINA US. MIAMI.

Imagina US is the leading, fastest growing HD production centre in Miami. Currently it consists of two interconnected buildings in which content of multiple genres is produced, at the same time as 15 channels are being broadcast throughout the entire country. New broadcasters are showing interest in working in such a versatile and comfortable environment, with quick technical answers and optimal solutions for any need that may arise, supported by state-of-the-art technology.

beIN SPORTS FRANCE. PARIS.

In 2012 Unitecnic was in charge of the launching of belN SPORTS 1 and 2, and Max 3 to 10, the first Al Jazeera channels in France. After winning an international public tender in which it had to compete with the leading broadcast engineering companies in the world, Unitecnic developed the design and technical direction and also had to implement a technically highly complex engineering project. The result was one of the most advanced and modern premises in Europe. Since then Unitecnic has made several expansion projects in the centre, including the installation and commissioning of beIN SPORTS 3 in 2014. In addition, from 2012 to 2015 Unitecnic has been responsible for the technical maintenance of the centre.

ESPN MEDIACENTER. BUENOS AIRES.

ESPN Mediacenter is the production and broadcasting centre the international broadcasting network has set up in Argentina, from where they cover the entire South American, Spanish speaking market. The installations are fully-equipped to cover all areas: newsroom, three studios, four control rooms, a post-production area, four playout chains, traffic and MCR zone.

beIN SPORTS. BARCELONA.

In 2008 Unitecnic developed the project to launch Gol Televisión, a FullHD sports channel with a file-based workflow. This was the first tapeless HD installation in Europe, and it remained the largest project of its kind for over two years. The installation also included a Nodal Centre for national and international distribution of the entire Spanish League (LFP) and other sports events. In 2015 the channel was closed, and Unitecnic implemented the adaptation and modernization of the facilities to launch beIN Sports, the new sports channel in Spain for digital platforms.

Real Madrid TV. MADRID.

Throughout the first half of 2015 Unitecnic was responsible for the complete upgrade to HD quality of the Real Madrid TV facilities at its headquarters in Ciudad de la Imagen, Madrid. This project was developed in two phases. In the first phase, their two playout chains were adapted (one chain is in Spanish and the other in English, to broadcast outside of Spain). In the second phase the digital newsroom, postproduction and the studio were upgraded. All these changes were performed without interfering in the channel’s emissions.

Canal F1 Latin America. BARCELONA.

In March 2015 emissions for F1 Latin America began, the new television channel launched by Mediapro, which owns Formula1 TV rights for Latin America (except Brazil). Unitecnic was responsible for the installation and commissioning of the new 24/7 channel, with an expectancy of 17 million viewers through different distribution platforms. 20 hours of live coverage are offered during weekends, plus daily news concerning the world of motor.

The channel structure has been integrated within the complex of channels broadcasted from Mediapro’s headquarters in the 22 @ district of Barcelona, optimizing processes and resources.

ELEVEN SPORTS. BELGIUM AND POLAND.

Unitecnic has been responsible for the launching of ELEVEN SPORTS NETWORK’s new channels in Belgium and Poland. They are integrated into the multi-channel platform in Mediapro’s headquarters in Barcelona, while the commentary and postproduction are carried out in the countries of origin through dedicated fiber optic connections.

AMC NETWORKS INTERNATIONAL. MADRID.

AMC Networks’ entire postproduction area in Madrid has been completely renovated for this project. The facilities have now an integrated workflow based on Avid’s system: with ISIS, Interplay and Media Central. Equipped with 15 Media Composer advanced editing stations, 1 ProTools HD, and capacity for up to 10 remote editing stations.

CBF Experience Museum. RÍO DE JANEIRO

Unitecnic has been in charge of the audiovisual installation in the museum that the Confederação Brasilera de Futebol has opened to the public in this 2014 in its new Rio de Janeiro venue.
The museum includes interactive installations, large format projections and immersive audiovisual experiences, managed by a centralized control system using the latest technology available.
In each of the different spaces of the museum Unitecnic has deployed the necessary audiovisual systems engineering in order to guarantee the highest image and sound quality, as well as the interactive experiences to make the visitor the real protagonist.
